Adhesive Kit, Silver Conductive 610-1016

It is recommended that all retainers be mechanically riveted or screwed to the aircraft structure and that a good quality adhesive (DG PN 15348) be used to seal the area underneath the retainer.  In cases where rivets or screws are not possible, such as honeycomb surfaces, our conductive silver loaded epoxy (DG PN 16307) should be used.

This adhesive is a special two-part silver-loaded conductive epoxy.  The primary purpose of this conductive adhesive is to attach retainers where rivets and other fastening devices cannot be used, such as when retainers are mounted on honeycomb surfaces or on tip tanks.  One epoxy kit contains enough material to mount approximately eight retainers.
